Board- and component-level diagnosis for the electronics in your everyday devices. Drop it off at the bench in Leavenworth, or have it picked up around the valley.
What We Fix
The scope is broad, so finished work is the better guide. Here's what has actually come across the bench, documented in the Repair Portfolio:
- Laptops & desktops: cracked screens, keyboards, batteries, and board-level faults (full detail on Computer & Laptop Repair)
- Phones: battery and screen replacement, done here rather than down the valley. Water damage and board-level faults case by case — send the make and model, since parts availability decides it
- iPads & tablets: cracked screen and battery replacement
- Classic & modern gaming consoles: video and output faults
- TVs: no power, no picture, failed HDMI ports, backlight issues
- Generators and small engines: the electrical side as standard (power output, wiring, control electronics), with mechanical engine work taken case by case
- Appliance control boards: diagnosis and repair
- Other electronics: ask, and we'll tell you honestly if it's in scope
Book It, or Ask First
For most devices, go ahead and book a drop-off. For something unusual, rare, or hard to get parts for, send the make, model, and symptoms first, and we'll tell you whether it's in scope and what the parts look like before you make the trip. Either way, if we can't fix it, or it's not worth fixing, you'll hear that before anything is charged.
Pricing
- In-person visit: $95 (Wenatchee Valley corridor)
Covers the trip, your first 30 minutes on-site, and the diagnosis. Trips outside the corridor cost more, and both prices are on the Pricing page. A $20 deposit is charged when you book an in-person visit and comes off the total.
- Drop-off diagnostic: $50
Covers the first 30 minutes, and it's the same $50 wherever you are. Nothing is charged when you book a drop-off, and there's no transport charge if you bring it to Leavenworth yourself.
- After the first 30 minutes: $37.50 (per additional half hour)
That works out to $75/hour, billed in 30-minute increments, with an estimate before any work beyond the diagnosis.
- Parts: At cost
Billed at what we pay, including any shipping, itemized on your invoice. You hear the actual cost before a part is ordered.

That conversation can usually tell you whether a repair is worth pursuing and which diagnostic fits. A firm repair price takes having the device in hand.
Nothing is charged when you book a drop-off. The $50 diagnostic, and the pickup fee if you'd like us to collect the device and bring it back, are billed on your final invoice. No transport charge if you bring it to Leavenworth yourself.
